ONE OF THE BEST EVENTS IN MISSOURI IS RIGHT HERE IN YOUR BACKYARD

If you are from Moberly or the region you might have heard of a unique event called Junk Junktion. This event started in 2018 by the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce as an idea to set up a vintage market in the streets of their downtown. The first year, they had 17 vendors and every year following the number of vendors increasing to having over 100 in 2021.
Besides, vintage vendors the event grew to host a car show organized by the Moberly High School JROTC in 2020. In 2021 the Allen Train Robbery Reenactment and Gus Macker National 3-on-3 basketball tournament were added to the festival.
This year the event will be held on September 17 & 18! That is right for the first time ever Junk Junktion will be two days!
The event has many different components to it, but it makes it an enjoyable festival for the entire family. One of the best parts is that there is no general admission for this event. If you would like to just walk the streets and look there isn’t any cost.
This year, Junk Junktion will see a variety of vendors from across the Midwest from handmade jewelry to true vintage collectables. A wide array of your favorite food trucks will be attendance as well.

Besides all the events listed above visiting this event is a great opportunity to shop and eat at some of the local businesses in Moberly and the Depot District.
Gus Macker opening ceremonies begin at 8am, Junk Junktion opens up at 9am and all events end on 5pm on Sunday.
